An Old Religion

I have unfortunately noticed recently that quite a few folks are clinging to the “literal interpretations” of Scriptures.  While I do not dismiss the literal translations, I however do not dwell upon them.  This position of mine angers many peoples who cling desperately to their religions.  However St. Paul reflects that “the letter of the law kills but the spirit gives life.”  Religion can manifest in many unexpected platforms.  For instance, when most people think of religion, they think of spirituality and that which concerns the mind.  But did you ever stop to consider that “government” too is a religion?  I will come back to that shortly.

Regarding the literal translations for a brief moment, we might consider the health laws and we can literally say that eating swine and shellfish is not a good idea.  The pig is most times full of virii and the shellfish that filter are most times full of heavy metals and other toxic substance.   So we can literally see that the health laws are beneficial to the physical human body.  But there is a “higher” knowledge encoded in the health laws when one at once comes to the revelation that what one puts in his flesh is a symbol of what one puts in his mind.   If one places garbage of Authority and Control in the mind then one will become mentally sick.

Regarding the mind has anyone noticed how “tribal” religion can be?  It seems folks “believe” that if I am not part of their group or believe as they do, then I am somehow lacking before God and certainly before their group.  Therefore divisions occur and those divisions are staunchly defended.   History shows that wars are waged over which group has the “correct” name for God. And this is sad and a shame for the word “name” is less of a moniker and more of a descriptive term which means “Way” of God.  How many wars must be waged to so that the victor might establish, mind you, at the end of a gun, the modern acceptable “name of God”?  And will these wars establish a consensus or will there always remain those who refuse to have their mind shackled by those who would project authority by force.

The words of Jesus ring out true – these think to take the Kingdom of God by force!

But I digress.  Somewhere in the recesses of my mind I remember a fellow seeker developing from the Latin the roots of the term “government”.

Synonyms for the term “pilot” are to steer, control, maneuver, direct, etc.  It can be seen then that the term “government” is focused on the mind just the same as religion and one can even go as far as to maintain that the term government means to control the mind.  And who has not yet seen the movie The Matrix?  What an amazing movie.  We can see in its characters the struggle with the Mind against authority that is fear based and propagated at the end of a gun.  Morpheus is the Truth, Trinity is the Emotion of care and love, and Neo is the Mind being renewed.  But we see in TheMatrix part 1 that Neo struggles against “the agents” of the fear based authoritative system.   It seems that the agents are not interested in Mr. Anderson’s free expression.  These agents instill such a fear into the minds of the three heroes that their first response is to always run which is the fight or flight response of the lower brain.

Looking within and facing myself, I had to realize that I had been completely programmed towards the fear response of flight.  In fact when faced with an uncomfortable interaction with the system’s agents, I began to notice that my only desire was to end the interaction in such a way that I did not “upset” the system’s agents.   “Give em what they want” so I could return to my “sleeping comfort” was what everyone else was telling me and I soon began to realize that I was indeed completely asleep.  What I mean is that I was not making a use of my Intelligence.  Therefore I was at the mercy and control of systems established long ago to control the societal beast called the public.  This control system, I soon learned had its “hooks” into just about every aspect of my life and I was terrified to be shown that there was absolutely nothing that was private about my life.  All my life I had lived in the Public domain under the those sorcerers who control the public by and thru agents who are ignorant too.  You can spot em friends with the token curse of “I’m just doing my job”.  And with that admission off go the lights and we continue in darkness of oppression.

So then, is it okay to oppress anyone?  And isn’t that oppression a form of slavery?  The chains are no longer on the feet or hands, the chains are made for the mind!  As a man thinks so he is.   Therefore accepting the status quo is horrible.  For to accept the anthem of “love it or leave it” is akin to “my pimp treats me better than yours treats you.”  The pimp projects the message:  “It’s better with me baby, oh I know I rough you up and take from you from time to time, but where you gonna go baby?”  Have you noticed how rough the other “isms” treat their women [citizens]?

So we turn a WILLING blind eye to the Fascism which stares at us right in the face but who can see when all are asleep?  One attempts to awaken to the tune of a “New Age” only to be lulled fast asleep again by deceptions of acceptance and repackaging of the ancient religions.  And friends the attitude of the sorcerer, finding the subjects unwilling to make a use of their minds, is that “since you no longer mind, then you no longer matter.”

This friends is the mindset of a master-slave relationship.   And one who is shackled in the mind does not require prison bars.  In fact one who is shackled in the mind is such as slave as to do things which are not healthy in fear and in support of the system they willingly enslave themselves to.  After much usage and usurpations, the enslaved mind ensures compliance so that the status quo is maintained.  Should we now go to Scripture to support these assertions?

Isaiah 42:22  But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

Numbers 11:5  We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:

Numbers 11:6  But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

At least in Egypt, the place of bondage and control, these understood their bondage and were willing to “put up with the slavery” as long as the status quo did not get too oppressive.  But now when these are shown their error and are delivered they are miserable for at once they can no longer abide in limited liability under the shadow of their “authority figure”.  These have to take full responsibility for their deeds and just as in The Matrix when Neo was released from the prison that bound him, he found he had never actually used his eyes and limbs.  What a horrific experience it is to awaken to truth only to find our brethren fast asleep and unaware of the mental chains.

In fact the mental chains are so entrenched that when faced with truth the enslaved mind will violently reject it outright  in support of its slavery.  This is of course a fear response which might also manifest out of greed or lust.  It is indeed quite hard for the Rich Man to enter into the Kingdom of God for he is quite happy with his estate and it will most likely never dawn upon him that he is in fact mentally enslaved.  While this one may be rich in worldly gain, he is extremely poor in Wisdom and that which is Heavenly – the Mind.

Returning to the flight or fight response, the questions beg to be answered such as: why was I feeling compelled to a certain response?  Where did the thoughts of dread and emotions of fear and anger arise?  Were these programmed into my sub-consciousness such that a certain response might be expected?  And if this programming is so, then who is doing it and can it be stopped?  These questions and many others flooded my thoughts for years as I struggled to understand the causes which developed the so called “Matrix” of mind control.  After many years of struggle to comprehend, I recognized that Goliath stood in the Temple of my Mind and I was terrified of facing him.

And yet, I allowed this mental giant to remain as a “strongman” in the house.  Whenever I tried to succeed the strongman always saw to it that I failed.  The recognition that this strongman exists within was foundational to the healing that has occurred.  There was no easy path – facing one’s worst fears is a very difficult experience.  The fear of loss of life or freedom can make a man do very strange deeds even enslaving himself to the will of another.

Isaiah 52:1  Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

Isaiah 52:2  Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

Isaiah 52:3  For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money.

Isaiah 52:4  For thus saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

Isaiah 52:5  Now therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.

We can at once see the literal expression is playing out or manifesting that which is internally bound.  You might even say the spiritual is couched in the physical.  Therefore the change will not come in community all at once, rather it must first come in the individual mind first.  Let us arise and put on the beautiful garments.  Work is to be done within the Mind –  for Goliath must be destroyed within the minds of every living human being.

The belief that he/she or it has the power to Oppress and Control another is false religion.  Since God dwells in the Temple of man, to trespass and oppress another by force is to tort God and man.   But if man does it to himself that’s another matter.   Liability falls upon the head of the one who does the deed.  Understanding the internal struggle will cast light upon that which occurs without us.  

Please do not misunderstand the foregoing.  I am not advocating rebellion of any type or form.  Rather, we look at the Allegory of Moses and Pharaoh and we see no rebellion.  When we awaken to the troubling truth that something is not as we have been told or taught, then it is incumbent to learn the laws that bind so that lawfully and in consideration of equity we might do unto others as we would have done to ourselves.  Do not think for one moment that the agent that oppresses is truly cognizant of his/her deeds.  Most times these brethren are just as asleep to reality as is most of the rest of the world.  

All are born under Natural Law and that begs a lawgiver – Creator.  Consider now the persons of Statehood and the priests who practice that craft.  Do not be as one who thinks that he can sign a chit and the world is his oyster absent work and liability.  That philosophy, rather a sickness, is in part the new religion that is being propagated upon a needy, greedy and fearful public.  A Usufructuary before God with standing in that Court requires full liability.
