The Bride and the Wedding Guests
Have you ever wondered why the Holy Scriptures declare the following:
So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
…For many are called, but few are chosen.Matthew 22:10 & 14
For years back when I used to think church was a brick and block building, the pastor would preach, that all I have to do is believe in Jesus and I would be saved. I have now come to see that this is just babies milk served to those who are just that little babies. For at once we have a problem with this word “believe” – because reader the “devils believe” but we are told they will not be saved!
So what is it? I challenge the reader herein to go look up the greek word translated – improperly translated – believe.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
Pisteuō is the Greek word and it DOES NOT mean believe. It means to ENTRUST or PLACE ONES TRUST IN. Now we had best get a clue of what it means to place our trust in another if we indeed seek everlasting life! Let us endeavor to understand with knowledge and wisdom eating the meat of the Scriptures and stop with the spoon fed baby food.
So let us now go to the Great Book of Esther. Funny how this book carries the Babylonian name of Ishtar the “Mother of the Gods” whereby today the pagan festival of Easter is celebrated according to the Mystery Religions. But if you look at her Hebrew name it is Hadassah. Which according to Dr. Strong H1918 means “Myrtle Tree”.
We find that the King Ahasuerus was married to one called Vashti – who by the way says “I sit a Queen and am no widow” and she is a false church! Notice also when the King summoned Vashti to His court on the Seventh Day [Sabbath] she refused to come! She declares the Law or The Way of God has been done away with and what has she to do with what pleases the King! She in her own vain imaginations will serve the King in whatever manner she wants! She is obstinate and stubborn and she by her deeds DISQUALIFIED herself to be wed to the King!
But we see in Hadassah one who asked the “King’s Servant” a type of the Holy Spirit – what pleases the King? She deeply desires to be pleasing to the King and to know the Heart of the King! Now reader let me point out the Heart of the King of kings. We read Hebrew from right to left. Therefore we find the last letter of the book of Deuteronomy is a Lamed. And the first letter in the book of Genesis is a Beth. Lamed Beth is the Hebrew word for HEART. If you desire to be chosen as the bride then you will desire to be pleasing to the Groom. We desire to KNOW the heart of the Groom – and not only to know – but to develop our Character to be in conformance with the Heart of God.
Who is this false one who is lawless to the core declaring the Law of God is no more? Woe be unto that man! For he is close to blasphemy. Now let us consider the allegory of Abraham and Isaac.
Abraham in type is the Most High God [El Elyon] and Isaac in type is Jesus [Yehoshuah]. Abraham tells his servant [the Holy Spirit] to go and find a wife for his Son – from amongst his people. Meaning from amongst fellow believers who are enjoined to the Trust Boundary called the Kingdom of God. Notice to take a wife from amongst fellow believers! That means that just because one has placed their trust in Jesus that does not mean they will be ELECTED or CHOSEN to be the wife!
Returning to the Book of Esther, we find that upon her qualifying to be considered a POSSIBLE prospect of wife she purified herself amongst the fair maidens for one years time. She cleaned up her act. Who is this one who declares that deeds do not matter? They most certainly do. For one absent deeds is also absent faith!
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.James 2:17 – 24
For some say I will just declare my faith by my words – but that is empty! For James declares I not only want your express trust I want your implied trust as a 2nd witness! Therefore those who would QUALIFY to be selected as the Bride will work. The others who do not have enough oil in there lamps [Ref Matthew 25 – ten virgins] will be at the wedding feast but they will not be the bride – they will unfortunately be merely guests.
And look how foolish the lawless ones are – those who would deny the Heart of God – the Torah. For imagine if you took a wife and on your honeymoon whilst you were consummating the relationship – there at once was some clown banging on your door! How would you feel about that one trying to claim access to this private union?
See if you can rid yourself of the flesh image and think about a Trust Organization with its private Law Boundary! Who are these who break the law and then declare they want access the King who gave the Law? In my estimation, if one desires to Qualify as the Wife – Priest, then that one had better be about maturing their character into the Image of The Way.
ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.Psalms 119:1 – 8
Let us endeavor to walk in maturity – leaving the babies milk of salvation – and endeavoring to qualify to become the Bride of the King. Which is to say a “righteous king” as a vassal UNDER the King of kings!
For many are called, but few are chosen.
Matthew 22:14
