The Test

SerpentHave you considered how subtle the Trust is? Consider the Serpent in the Garden. Adam and Eve had been granted the Use of Property established by God. Notice that God even formed their Body, Soul and Spirit. Therefore God owned the Property. Adam and Eve did not own the Property! The only aspect of Adam and Eve that was theirs was their Choice! Now notice that the One that formed them also Granted to them the Law concerning the Use of Property He had established! In other words Sinai was the 2nd giving of the Law! Adam and Eve both knew they were not to do certain deeds and what do we find in the story? Eve is tricked into submitting to another Lawgiver! And Adam was NOT tricked but he willingly transgressed!

Now what is the lesson regarding Trust?

To whom ye submit yourselves to obey that is whom ye should obey! Can we find this in the Scriptures? You better believe we can!

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6:16

ServantAnd being in Rebellion, the Law stood adversary to us in Sin we became servants to Sin in attempt to keep all of the Law – but now – looking unto our Redeemer we become servants of the Law unto Righteousness!  In either Kingdom – unto Sin or Righteousness – the servant is the Trustee undertaking in the Kingdom.

So then we see in the Garden a Fenced-In Law Boundary – a Closed Survey. Once Adam and Eve broke the Law, they in their Self Determination chose another Law Giver. And that reader is what happens every single day of your life! For we are no better than Adam or Eve. The enemy is very subtle.

There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 16:25

And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

1Corinthians 8:2

The ways of the Creator are not Self Determination! In fact it is just the opposite. And that is why the Kingdom of God is perceived to be foolishness to the wise! The ways of God are self sacrifice and giving away the Stone of Free Will – and submitting [a feminine characteristic] to the Groom.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Messiah.

2 Corinthians 11:2

Consider now if God owns the flesh temple that you dwell in and God gave Laws concerning the Use of that Temple, then for us to forsake those Laws is to WASTE property that belongs to another. And how is that act not rebellion?
